Medium white head, brown copper coloured body, some malts and honey a bit nutty but not a very big smell, medium co2 medium bitter malts a bit acid nutty

Bottle from Lidl English package. Amber. Almost no head. Low carbonation. Malty and sweet taste. A bit metallic finish. Short finish.

GeorgePratt (77) - Stockport, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2017
Pours a dark Amber with a non existent off white head which disappears very quickly. Aromas of honey, malts, oak, charcoal. Metallic tasting malt with an even more metallic finish. Poor.

Bottle. Amber in colour. Malty; toasty malts, buttery caramel. Fruity; citrus orange. Hoppy; grassy hops. Robust malty fruity full-flavoured ale. Long bitter finish. Easy Drinking. (2014-10-21)

Bottle, Victa Belvedere, shared with heavy. Poured a clear dark amber body wtih a white head. Mild sweetish doughy aroma, meh. Soft, flat taste, doughy maltiness, herbal, perfumey hoppiness. OK, has enough taste for 3.4%, but I see no reason to purchase a 3.4% beer for this price ever again.

ogivlado (7810) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 30, 2016
Bottled 500ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, small white to off-white head, whiff of caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, slightly herbal and nutty with rather bitter finish. Watery palate; not offensive, pleasant in a way but just watery.

josanguapo (1674) - SPAIN - DEC 18, 2016
From Costco. At lunch, with fried potatoes + fried eggs + croquettes. In Ikea’s pint glass. Full of english dry bittering hops and a smooth and creaming feeling. It’s incredible they packaged all this in such a tiny ABV!

1MrCabbage (30) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2016
29/11/16 bottle at home. Lovely old school downland bitter. Belies it's 3.4%. Bitter, chalky, gentle malts, takes well to chilling. This is close to that elusive beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from a bottle from Tesco.Good fruity, malty aroma. Colour is a rich copper with a quickly-fading white head. Good mouthfeel and a great taste of malts (not too sweet) and a a fruity, earthy hop taste. Good bitterness, producing autumn flavours in a glass. A really delicious classic bitter. Highly recommended.

Bijl (635) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 14, 2016
Donker amber/koper, helder, crèmekleurige kleine schuimkraag , weinig koolzuur. Aroma: Graan, karamel, broodachtig/biscuit en heel licht kruidig. Smaak: Bitter, netelig, prikkelig, iets zoet, iets hout, moutig en graan, broodachtig. Medium body, zacht en romig, weinig koolzuur. Afdronk is bitterzoet. Propper Bitter it is!
