Well hopped and well balanced bitter nose. Pours a hazy pale amber. Flavour is very pleasant - fresh floral notes from the hop, a sweet malt balance, and a long bitter finish. Very nice.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2002) - Brakspear-brewed, not Wychwood
Rich orange, small head. Well balanced hoppy aroma, some fruity esters. Decent full malty body, but decently hopped too. Fruity hop finish. Anna says "yum". Rating rediscovered while packing for a move in 2010.

Vladivostok (483) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2010
The higher gravity makes it feel a little less bitter than the ordinary, but you still couldnít call it sweet. Very distinctive flavour, I guess toffee and caramel but in unusual proportins and a very long bitter finish. One of those beers that itís hard to mistake for anything else.

Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 22, 2010
From notes. Deep copper color with a thin white head. Aroma of orange peel and caramel. Flavor starts with caramel and progresses to a bitter finish. Complex.
