500 ml bottle; #294851 - Best before 1 Jan. 2016.
Pours red-orange with a very good head and ample lacing.
The aroma is quite nice: sweet and complex, with suggestions of fruits, honey, and a hint of toffee.
The flavor does not keep up, being impaired, in part, by some boozy notes. The high ABV also prevents the mouthfeel from being as smooth and soft as it might be. mariuszek (1380) - Gdynia, POLAND - APR 15, 2015
Pours opaque, copper color, thin head. Complex aroma of caramel, dried fruits, lemon, biscuits which all blends into kind of Belgian barnyard notes. Taste is malty sweet, but not overwhelming, balanced with sour notes in aroma and slightly bitter finish. Quite complex for ale. You start thinking about Belgian triple, but it is still ale. Interesting brew. DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2015
Bottle from Asda. Benylin, rosehip malt. Sticky sweet. Sticky is the word of the night. This is OK. English Strong Ales are quite good most of the time, aren’t they? slavy (5) - BULGARIA - MAR 25, 2015 does not count
Good, full, long and rich taste. Real pleasure if you take it with some sweet cheese.

500 mL bottle poured into a pint glass. Orange-red, opaque with a creamy head. Perfurmed sweet fruit aroma. Fresh and smooth if surprisingly lacking in body, but still quite refreshing. Not bad but I’d rather have their 7.2% triple. mike_77 (6668) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAR 23, 2015
Brown and clear with thin, lacy head. Sweet aroma with dried fruits, especially raisins. Flavour is also sweet with some banana esters and caramel. Interesting but too sweet. wozap (891) - Węgorzewo, POLAND - MAR 23, 2015
Butelka nr 195157. Bursztynowe, piana drobna. Aromat biszkopty, owoce czrewone. Smak słodycz, odczucie pełni, gestości na języku. Piwo rozgrzewa przyjemnie gardło, wysycenie srednie, piwo degustacyjne. DIBBLE (103) - Worthing, West Sussex, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2015
Clear dark copper coloured with no head and little aroma to my cold filled nose. Full bodied malty hoppy flavour however more than makes up for it. Well balanced. Rich and complex yet doesn?t overwhelm the taste buds. Lovely. nihtila (3639) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 16, 2015
16.1.2014. Tumman kuparin värinen. Tuoksussa hieman karamellia, mallasta. Suutuntuma hiilihappoinen eikä kovin tukeva, melko pehmeä. Maussa hieman karamellia ja mallasta, hieman kypsää hedelmää. Ihan kiva, mutta ei suuria tunteita.
