3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Big Hops. Clear golden color. Aroma of fresh pine. Taste is very bitter, too bitter to let the spiciness of the rye shine through.
12 ounce CaN .. stupid CaN leaked a bit, still carbed .. soggy rye, cardboard, dried grass .. very plain, crap finish .. disappointing.. . . Did you know 90% of dolphins suffer from asthma.. BeerRenter76 (1034) - Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Originally rated on 1/14/14-My first from this new brewer. The body is a slightly hazy orange amber, the head is thin but leaves some nice lace on the glass. Aromas of biscuts, grapefruit, and piney hops, nice but not terribly assertive. Medium body, a little chewy, and stickey but not overly so. Flavors have a nice hop bitterness, grapefruit, the rye is well balanced with the bready malts. Easy to drink, not overbearing, overall it was pretty decent. gunnfryd (15256) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 4, 2015

An almost clear one, orange-golden in color, topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has quite a lot of pine cones, with resins and some tropical fruityness. A touch of pale malts too, both in aroma and flavor, with a solid bitterness. Pine cones and resins. Full body, semi-dry and with a tad hard carbonation. Lasting bitter and piney finish. Fruity too. Nothing special going on here, but it’s a nice beer anyway. 141219 Rasmus40 (21977) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2014

The bitter is most of what I taste. The aroma is probably a bit more complex and interesting. Sure feels good going down though. ZacM612 (799) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Hazy amber with a slightly copper tint. Aroma is piney, and grassy. Smooth, medium body. Mild for a rye, but not bad.
