Bought a bottle at the supermarket. Has a golden color and a large white head. Aroma of herbs, citrus fruits, spring flowers and grass. Taste is medium sweet with a light bitter. Further taste of roasted malts and hops. The aftertaste is light sweet which changes after a while in a light bitter. Afterall, a decent beer but the pilsner is just as good as this.

Fajny, całkiem intensywny jak na ten styl aromat. Sporo nut wędzonki drzewnej, okopconego drewna. Dużo melanoidów (tostów, skórki od chleba). Potem toffi i lekki karmel. Jest też trochę zbożowych nut. Ewidentnie słodowy, konkretny klimat. Kolor ciemno-złoty, klarowny. Smak wyraźnie słodowy, słodkawy. Dużo melanoidów: toffi, skórka od chleba, karmel, zboża. Trochę ziół w drugim rzucie, a zaraz za nimi przyprawowy posmak. Początkowo niska goryczka, umiarkowany przyprawowy finisz Słodowy początkowo harmonijny smak, wraz z upływem czasu przechodzi w bardziej rozchwiany. Mieszanka wszystkich stylów, wszystko i nic. Dobrze ukryty alkohol.

My beer was near it’s ’best before date’, not over it, but I actually did not like the taste at all. I couldn’t recognise any of the other raters descriptions. Not pleasant to drink. Seems it does not really know what taste to go for.

Jerre (3857) - Waregem, BELGIUM - JUL 26, 2017
Zondag 23 juli 2017 van 30 cl fles, geproefd in Hotel Postillon Dordrecht. Helder donkerblond bijna oranjekleur, met cremige medium witte schuimkraag. Aroma: zoet, mout, fruittoets. Medium body. Smaak: zoete start, tikkeltje fruit, mout, lichtjes bitter. Verfrissend maar toch te gewoontjes voor mij..

12/VII/17 - 30cl bottle from a Dutch supermarket @ home - BB: X/17 (2017-994)

Clear dark blond to orange beer, creamy off-white to yellowish head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, very malty, grains, caramel, some banana, bit of vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, malty, grains, caramel, pretty sugary, unripe banana, bit yeasty. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, lots of banana, caramel, bit metallic, grains, little bitter, malty, cow fodder, very unpleasant beer. Did not like at all.

Goud koper kleurig bier met een vette schuimkraag. Vervelend glas om uit te drinken, ik denk dat het beter tot zijn recht komt in een meer bokaalvormig glas.

Juks (1199) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 19, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours clear golden, small white head stays. Aroma is wheaty, banana, sweet, some smoke. Taste is malty, earthy, kinda sweet. Average carbo, medium body. Drinkable, aroma is better than taste.

Amber pour with white head. Floral nose and spices on the palate. This is unlike any bock I have ever had and it’s not real good. On tap

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2017 F: medium size, egg-white, almost average retention. C: deep gold, clear. A: malty, honey, cloves, herbal, hint of smoke, fruity. T: malty, orange, cloves, spicy, herbal, caramel, medium body, medium carbonation, straight commercial example for the style I think, 30cl bottle from Jumbo in Marknesse in Netherland.

Fles. Fris lentebokje.

Zlotta (4145) - Hagen, GERMANY - APR 23, 2017
0.3 l bottle from ’AH’ (Groesbeek), best before September 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly floral and quite yeasty-spicy aroma of honey, caramel and lots of clove. Quite sweet, malty and rather yeasty-spicy taste of clove, honey, vanilla, some caramel and hints of banana, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Drinkable, but more a Belgian Blond than a Bock, overall disappointing.
