Bottle of 300 ml at home. ABV is 3.5%. It pours a very dark brown, non transparent beer with a thin, brownish head that dissapears slowly but steadily.
Aroma is sweet, slighty fruity, maybe raisins (?)
Taste is also very sweet, I get some caramel flavour and it leaves behind, after each seep a very thin sour aftertaste that combines well with the overall sweetness.
On the body is quite thin, carbonation is almost non existent but I believe it has a high drinkability. kraddel (8885) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 3, 2013

Bottle at Schilberg, Holland. Sweet sugary beer reminiscent of a sweetened iced tea, lemon, sugar. Little bitter finish. Easy sipper low on alcohol. Fantastic atmosphere at this little bar a few feet away from the Belgian border. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 3, 2005
Another from Poperinge. Dark ruby brown. Mild head. Woody malt aroma. Very sweet and malty with a trace of smoked wood. Too sweet for my taste. Like a chocolate cookie soaked in beer. stevoj (5569) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 25, 2012
Delicious, sweet, mild brown beer. Would be a perfect dessert beer with a cake or pie. dark brown with almost no head. Sweetness of prunes and raisins. Different style and unique to the Netherlands....

From tap in Maastricht. Clear dark brown color, beige fine head. Caramel, malt aroma. Very sweet taste, medium to low bitterness. Caramel, candy syrup aftertaste. Low carbonation, thin texture. Quite tasty, despite it being rather sweet. kapusil (1505) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 26, 2017
0.33l bottle. Dark brown body with a beige head. Aroma and taste of dark sugar, sour cherries, chocolate and cocoa. Not my kind of beer, but if one likes very sweet beers, then this is a nice option. Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2010
Bottled. A deep red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of fruit and caramel - very sweet. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, straw, and malt, leading to a sweet finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - AUG 27, 2011
