Trocken hopfiger Antrunk, weich. In zweiter Linie herb, die Hopfigkeit steht aber meist darüber. Trocken bleibend, bitterer werdend, etwas holzig. 10/8/9/9/9/9 Benzai (15587) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 17, 2012
33cl bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, some grains, lightly bitter. Nothing special but a decent, solid pilsener. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 3, 2012
Bottle. Pale golden color. Soft grassy aroma with hints of malt, Fairly dry pilsener with a soft but persistant grassy hopbitterness and some distant bready notes. Well balanced. Perfectly acceptable. kermis (13337) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2012

30cl Bottle from Mitra Heerhugowaard. First of all, great initiative that brought forth this beer, and a really cool label, very reminiscent of Jack Daniels imho. The beer itself: clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is not very appealing at first, sulphur, swamp, dry white wine, odd fruitiness, opens up more when the beer warms up. Flavour is light sweet, tiny malt backbone, light floral, nice firm bitter grassy and light herbal finish. Light-bodied. Came across as a typical English Golden Ale with lager yeast, it lacks a whole lot of malt/bread flavours to be really tasty imo. mike_77 (6660) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - DEC 9, 2012
A pleasant enough Pilsener. Light fruity, malty flavour with a hint of dry, bitter hop in the finish. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2012
Medium sized, thicker and vast but also a bit lively snow white head, which changes slowly into a vast lacing on top of a clear brighter yellow colored beer.
Smell hops, citrus, grains and sharper grains leaning on glue ish tints, hint of cardboard, some hoppy herbs and a hint of something like cara malt.
Taste is a decent mix of hops, floral notes, lots of grains, close to sharper hops and grains, nice bitter touch, hint of malts and something like a hint of meat in the far far distance.
Aftertaste is pretty nice, a fine mix of bitters, hops, floral notes and hay/grass.
Medium carbo, soft but also light spicy mouthfeel, low to medium body and a light creamy texture.
I expected more hops! DutchDrebus (5982) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - NOV 16, 2012
Bottle @ home. Clear golden 3e llow with a small white head. Smells malts mostly. Tastes malty, crispy, some hoppyness. Thin body, fitting carbo. Decent pilske! Christos (5743) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2012
This was brewed by the winner of the pilsener brewing contest, allowed to use the facilities of Brand to make enough beer for 50.000 crates. Poured into a footed pilsener glass. Colour is golden yellow, with a constant stream of bubbles in the body and a soapy, thick white head of two full fingers, with excellent retention. I have it now about ten minutes in the glass and there is still about half a centimeter of foam covering the beer. Very good.
The smell on the other hand is not anything extraordinary, and it could use some more hops for the aroma. Neertheless, above the average pilseners.
The taste is where this one shines, hoppy bitterness straight from the beginning to the very finish, and a long one too.
Medium to thick crisp body and just about the right carbonation.
Overall, a great pilsener, maybe Brand could learn a thing or two from this one.
