Pours an amber clear beer with a good creamy white head. Smells fruity, gumball. Tastes fruity, sweetness. Average carbo, medium body and a sticky texture. Mpuntmuts (142) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 17, 2013
Dark clear amber pour with a big slightly tan bubbly head. Sweet caramel and malty smell with not much else. Brr, taste is artificially sweet. Malty and syrupy. Thin. Not the spicy winterale they make you believe it is. worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2013
Amber with a medium lasting, lacy, off white head. Smells of toasted malt, caramel, red berries, and grass. Medium frothy body. Tastes of grass, with slight roast, malt, toffee and a bit of a chemical burn on the finish. bonkiedeaap (748) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2013
Bought a bottle at the Albert Heijn. The beer has a ruby red color and a nice cream colored head, CO2 level is good. In the aroma tones of sweet herbs and dark fruits. The taste is a light sweet with tones of sweet herbs and also has a light bitter in the finish. Further the beer is a little watery. The finish is light sweet with a light bitter at the end. A pretty standard beer, but better than Brand Imperator. DutchMark (395) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 11, 2013
Not bad for a macro. Looks nice deep red. The flavor is sweet but not overly sweet and has some red fruit cloves and malt. Flavor fades too fast and there is a metallic element in the finish that I do not like so much. All in all not bad. Slap an interesting micro label on the bottle and the scores here would be a lot higher.
