UPDATED: MAY 18, 2013 Bottled from local supermarket. Hazy golden colored, lasting white head. Weizen aroma, some banana, hops. Wheat and fruit in flavor, combined with quite a lot of hops for the style, which works out very nice. Mouthfeel not as thick as most classic hefeweizens. Short bitter finish. Brand really has a nice angle on the style. Pleasantly bitter, easy drinking.

Fat.

Bottle at Imperator bar, Gulpen, Holland. Hazy orange. Spicy minty cabbage aroma. Taste is tangy wheat with strong spearmint and other herbs. Some kind of strange wit that doesnt really fit into the Belgian category, but is even further from a German weizen. Not very good.

On tap at Proeflokaal De Boom, Alkmaar - Hazy gold body, massive rocky head. Nose slightly clove-cum-banana stereotype, but some bready notes there as well. Only downside, gassy as fook. Real burp-maker.

As for all Brand beers they posess a little more explicit taste than the Heinekens and Bavarias. The same goes for this weizen beer. Easy drinking. Tastes best when well chilled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle shared. Poured a slightly hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is crushed banana, malt, light sweet fruit. The flavour is light acid citrus with a light watery grainy yeasty light bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

@ Valkenburg, Blond colour, white foam. Dull and rather messy hefeweizen. Light tart, some banana sweetness. Medium carbonation. Meh.

Kolor jasno ??ty, m?tny. Wysycenie ?rednie, pasuje.

Bottle from AH to go in the train. Drank straight from the bottle which looks quite nice. Wheat flour and dough, light banana and spicy yeast, bubblegum, some grass and dry plastic notes. Almost medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Not as bad as I expected.

On tap at Stadsbrouwhuis Leiden. Cloudy pale gold lasting thick head. Banana aroma. Lightly ripe banana in the mouth. Some dryness on the finish. Its fine. A decent mass production weizen. Had worse. Ok if lacking a bit of character.
