Draft at Axelrad. Pitch black, dark tan head. Aroma is big roast malt with some coffee and chocolate. Taste follows suit. For 10% it’s highly quaffable. Really good.

Tap at the Growler Spot. Black with a tan head. Heavy lacing. Aroma of coffee and chocolate ice cream. Tastes roasty and bitter and full of coffee. Smooth and medium bodied. Nice. Scopey (15522) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2016
Keg at Flying Saucer. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, big liquorice vibe, umami, treacle, toasted sesame and light sit sauce. The taste is smooth, slick, sticky, liquorice, meaty, marmite, charred wood, ash, Asian fruit, peppery with a very dry, charred finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A bit harsh overall. Andrew196 (1980) - Katy, Texas, USA - SEP 5, 2016
A remarkable beer! Pours jet black with a cappuccino head, very consistent lace. Huge aroma, lots going on...Kahlua, cocoa powder, whiskey, coffee notes but a nice sweet woodiness. Much more lactic on the tongue, but smoothly so. Thick and chewy. Dark cherries, chocolate, notes of coffee, whiskey and a pleasant hop bitter bite. Loved it. fly (1486) - austin, Tejas, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Take no offense if you love this. I found it tasty and all that, but could not get past the sugary sweetness that rode all the way across my tongue. Reel that back and I would be glad to give it another shot.
Or keep it and let the lovers keep loving it. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 25, 2015

while i quite like this, i dont get too much white russian flavours, but i drink them often so maybe i’m digging too deep? .. dark brown .. solid foam flurries .. . long and sweet, hides the abv well, alleviates the pressure .. lobsters? how do those work?
