Bomber with a cool label. Hazy, yellow-orange pour with a head that disappears. Big aroma of pine, citrus, and straight-up resinous. Tropical fruits in the flavor, with a light bitter finish. Very enjoyable. BiggOnion (68) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - APR 24, 2013
Large bubbles, and a Great aroma. Citrus and hops...Great smooth taste, with lots of hops. if you’re an IPA fan, this is an ale you’ll love BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 1, 2013
65cl, new exclusive American brewfirm Anno 2012, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex bitter brew, bitter/sweet and slightly fruity/alcoholic, heavy, yet balanced, clear, small head, good brew, yet expensive! yespr (45436) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2013
22 fl oz bottle @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Solid grapefruity, peachy and pine hops. Alcohol boost to the hops. Bitter, grapefruity and pine hops. Vague sweetness, oily and pine hops. Medium dry and vague peachy into the far finish. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - MAR 30, 2013
22oz bottle. Clear, orange\amber color. White head. Overwhelming nose of citrusy hops. Loads of citrus, hops, and some pineapple juice scent as it warms. Overall aroma smells like a dry hopped Double IPA. Flavor of sharp hops. More hops on the palate on top of the already hop floral nose. Hops, hops, hops. Under all of the hop bitterness, there is a silky\sticky malt backbone that has flavors of pale malts and puffed wheat. Wheat malt and citrus, finishes with a bit of alcohol as well. This beer is definitely not a Wheat Ale, this is an Imperial/Double IPA for sure.

Bottle. No freshness date. Pours with a lightly hazed deep orange hued body with a lasting bone white head. Aromas are sweet and boozy. Very strong canned/caramelized pineapple, strong strong strong fusel alcohol. Lemon, citrus, papaya, pine and resin. Sum: sweet, boozy, but with nice hops. Flavors are astringent/tannic grain, soil, earthy, sweet boozy, messy. Very hot, mildly bitter, grainy. Extreme fusel alcohol for a 9% abv beer. Hop character is a background note to the intensely harsh and solvent like alcohol. Estery, rough fermentation. Quite brash to be honest. Mild tropical fruit and resin, sweet. Lively carb, warming, astringent, fuller bodied. Reynolds314 (3441) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Golden pour with aroma was citrus and biscuits. Taste is a bit caramel heavy with some citrus and wet leaves. A bit to malty and sweet. Almost tastes like a nicely hopped malt liquor. Odd and not terrible but i wont have it again. Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Bomber from Randalls in Fairview. I rolled this bottle and the sediment hung together like a Star Trek nebula and did its best to defy gravity. A hazed bright golden honey beer with a light gold head of a finger and a half. An aroma of wheat with multi fruit essence. A definite quick hitting bitterness is tasted. There is a strong malt backbone that is nice under all the tartness and fruitiness. This drinks like a Double IPA with big alcohol and big hop tartness. If the fruit is yellow or orange then it is in this beer. Pineapples, oranges, grapefruit, etc. Call this a Wheat Ale or a Double IPA. Whatever it is it is pretty tasty. Very hoppy, bitter, biscuity. Oranges, pretty good stuff. Alright but overrated mixmaster (36) - California, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Smells like IPA, new car, and alcohol.
Deep orange gold and opaque. Solid lacing and head retention.
Tastes like a big IPA but the hops have a unique licorice and rye whiskey character that I haven’t had too much of. The taste changes a lot from start to finish and the transition from note to note is slow so you notice everything. A lot of licorice and anise/ouzo as it goes back. Aftertaste is similar with bourbon/rye whiskey. Excellent structure and great taste.
