Not sure what you just drank? Wheat beer? IPA? Yes, it is. This mysterious ale boasts aromas of tropical fruit, a playful bitter edge, and the body and mouthfeel of an American hefe. Big alcohol and rich white wheat make this unfiltered ale accessible to all types of pallets.

Bomber. Pours a hazy orange with a frothy white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus rinds and pine hops. Wheat and grass with some pineapple. Taste citrus and pine hops. Sweet malt backbone. Pineapple and wheat are subtle throughout. Sticky on the palate. Medium bodied. Slightly dry bitter finish with a a sweet lingering aftertaste. Definitely made interesting by all the different characteristics.

22 oz bottle. Bottled on 11/16/12 (Wow, they sold old beer...). From demolenbeershop.com. Hazy amber color with a tiny light tan head. Sweet malt, some old hops, dryness and alcohol in the aroma. The flavor is harsh hops, dryness, badness and oldness. This rating is a bit unfair, but what can I do? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Aroma is of malts, fig, hops, yeast, brown sugar, and earthiness. Nice, heavy palate. Flavor is of malts, oak, hops, plum, roastiness, and some booze. Leaves a malty dark fruit finish. Yum.

hotstuff (5279) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 15, 2015
Rated on 6-21-2015 (Bottle) When poured, the appearance is a small smooth ivory head that mostly diminishes, slightly hazy golden body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is wheat, malt, semi-sweet, tropical fruit, and alcohol. This beer’s flavor is very bitter, citrus hops, wheat, tropical fruit, sweet, and boozy. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This is a sipping beer that is worth trying.

(bottle - 22 oz) Copper pour with a thick tan head. Citrus fruits and lots of sweetness in the aroma. Dry wheat at the start of the flavor with a lot of different fruit notes. A little too much going on for me. [9/11/15]

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy with a frothy top off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated slightly hazy orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The deep aroma was vinous and medicinal. hot sharp vinous with a strong vinous aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of bitter medicinal old ale and vinous. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 21, 2015
Poured from a Bomber into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a fruit aroma with a slightly off-putting metallic aroma. Appearance- Pours a dark orange with a lot of sediment. Taste- Average malt flavored beer. Palate- A heavy bodied beer with mild carbonation, sort of syrupy Overall- an average beer, the label is the best part of this beer.

thegreenrooster (4633) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - APR 4, 2015
Pour is a murky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a bit of raisons, some wheat malt, sugar and oak tannins. Flavor is sweet butterscotch with some earthy malt and a bit sugar. Finish is alcohol and maybe a bit of spicy rye. This beer is all over the place. It’s a solid high alcohol beer but does not fit in any category I know of.
