Don’t wreck a sublime chocolate experience by feeling guilty. Chocolate isn’t like premarital sex. It will not make you pregnant. And it always feels good. Imperial chocolate milk stout brewed with real cocoa, clocking in at 10%abv, and making love to your mouth like a horny sorority girl.

Deep black in color... Aroma of chocolate, smoke... Flavor is fairly sweet chocolate, hints of smoke, huge smoke on finish... Solid ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours heavy with a tan bubbly head. The aroma is sweet espresso and raisins. The taste of this surprised me. I was expecting it to be boozy, but it wasn’t. The taste was full of unsweetened chocolate and coffee. Unfortunately the mouthfeel was weak--it was a lot thiner than I think a stout should be.

The aroma and appearance are great but it has the signature "imperial" finish that I am not of.

Aroma is dark malts, roasted notes, coffee and chocolate. The flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, fruit and a dry/bitter/slightly tangy finish.

Bottle. Black with a tan head. Really nice chocolate, coffee and smokey aroma that came out the same in the flavor. Damn good beer plus the bottle art is awesome.

Pours like chocolate syrup and leaves a thin dark tan head. Black and totally opaque. Aroma of dark roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is actually more of black coffee with chocolate rather than milky. Not overly sweet and actually somewhat bitter. It has a thick creamy palate and heavy body.

An imperial stout that I really heavy on the coffee flavor and smokey finish. Almost tastes like a scotch. Pours a deep brown in color. Had at world Of beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

superspak (5497) - Michigan, USA - JAN 7, 2014
22 ounce bottle into snifter, bottled on 7/30/2013. Pours dense pitch black color with a 1-2 finger dense dark brown head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big cream, milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, toffee, fudge, vanilla, light coffee, and roasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with nice complexity of sweet chocolate/roasted malt notes; with great strength and no booziness. Taste of cream, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, toffee, vanilla, toast, light char, and roasted earthiness. Light roasted coffee bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cream, milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, light char, and roasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt and cocoa flavors; with big robustness and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a creamy, slick, and slightly chalky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent imperial milk stout. All around great balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt, cream, and cocoa flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
