Tap. The look is dark, black in color, thick tan head. The smell is malt, roast, chocolate, coffee, pretty decent. The taste is basically the same decent beer but I have seen better from this brewery and others Andrew196 (1853) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Draft at Growler - pours almost black, mahogany edges, frothy tan head. Aroma is aggressively chocolate, cocoa powder. Milky initially on the tongue with a tinge toward the finish. Heavy chocolate again, lactose, traces of nuttiness, dark roast. These guys do everything aggressive so I would expect nothing different if they’re looking for chocolate. Good but not their best... The chocolate dominated everything else. DrunkSanta410 (921) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2017
Tap at the brewery. Black pour, thick head. Aroma is milk chocolate, cocoa, faint licorice and vanilla. Taste is cocoa, milk chocolate, lightly bitter dark chocolate aftertaste. Huge chocolate bomb. Bit overly sweet. Faintly boozy. Pretty good. bulldogops (2490) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 15, 2016
Rating #2295 - 2016.01.05 - 650mL bottle from CBI - this got some limited play in Western Canada on a Clown Shoes shipment. Beautiful dark brown pour with a fairly foamy tan head with mild lacing. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Taste is oaty and thick, almost sludgy on the mouth feel, but layered with hints of vanilla and chocolate. Medium alcohol warmth. Depth of complexity and character for just another horny sorority girl. hayduke (5187) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 1, 2016

Sampled at esbls. Very dark with a beige head. Big chocolate everything. Dry dark bitter brings dry bitterness. Roast with all of that chocolate. If you like chocolate . . . . . rougeau13 (2954) - Richmond, Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2016

Crowler shared in the Fart Dungeon, thanks to Daniel, 29/01/16.
Pitch black with a dirty tan head.
Nose is dark chocolate, liquorice, spice, roasted malt.
Taste comprises roast malt, bitter cocoa, tar, liquorice stick, molastic qualities, black pepper trace.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, rising boost in the close.
Respectable enough impy. phaleslu (10098) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2016
Crowler shared by djd07 - thanks again, DJ! The otherwise blank crowler was markered up with the name of the beer and "about 10%" on it. Pours an opaque dark cocoa brown with a small beige head that settles into a tiny ring. Notes of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, ash, caramel, and tobacco. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a roasty, rich mouthfeel. Nice. DSG (14685) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 12, 2016
