Draft at growlers - Pours jet black, dark beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, very big and inviting, some vanilla too. Beautifully creamy on the tongue, lactose, milk chocolate, dessert coffee, traces of roasted nuttiness and toffee that came together very well, delicious! rougeau13 (3311) - Richmond, Texas, USA - NOV 6, 2016
On tap at Flying Saucer Sugar Land. Very black with a large, thick, heavily lacing brown head. Rich but bitter coffee and dark chocolate taste, and cocoa and vanilla aroma. Full bodied and creamy smooth. Nicely done. Dessert-like, but not too sweet. DSG (15519) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 12, 2016

Black pour with very little light tan head, with a stern nose of imperial Russian roast, dark licorice, dark cocoa, and a whisper of over roasted coffee. Big full flavor with lots of roast, deep dark black malt earthy sweetness, some bittersweet cocoa, more roast and psudo chocolaty darkness, and a bit of booze warmth.

Pours almost black with substantial dark tan head that leaves a lovely lacing as you drink it. Nose is ROASTY with a bit of dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasted malt and cacao nibs with a bit of coffee and vanilla. A tremendously big malty brew with well hidden alcohol. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2015
Note to myself on this ones was "crazy bitter chocolate", which I think sums it up quite nicely. Dark beer, dark head, dark flavor and aroma. Monstrous. Or perhaps that should be Vulgar.
