Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear deep golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, straw, some grapefruit, slight grain and grassy, floral hops. Taste is similar of lemon, straw, some grapefruit, slight grain, a little barley sweets and grassy, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, lingering, floral hops bitterness in the finish. A refreshingly dry golden ale with a decent body and great cascade hop bitterness. Well made. Cask @ Cask, Manchester. Clear golden-blonde with a small creamy head. Fairly hoppy with a mid tropical fruit aroma and taste due to fusion of slightly sugary malts.
