LazyPyro (1474) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2017
33cl bottle from M&S. Pours a surprisingly clear golden/blonde colour, no sign of any yeast floating around, very thin white head which fades away quite quickly. Aroma: sweet malt, citrus, banana, yeast, honey. Taste: sweet malts, citrus fruit, yeasty, spicy, slight hop bitterness coming through in the finish. Medium-full body and mouthfeel, medium carbonation. A good drinkable beer, not outstanding but considering how cheap this is (£1.49) in the UK it’s pretty good for the price.

Bottle - Sweet honey and herbal notes. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light sweet malts, touch of honey and a dry light bitter finish. Nice, but nothing special.

Clear caramel color with a fine big frothy off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Decent complexity in the flavor. Fruity, some yeast, malty, mild citric and some spices.

Pours a blonde colour. Quite yeasty tasting, alcohol on the palate. Not bad but not something I’d have again

A: Bright straw with a medium white head. N: Sweet and fruity. T: Full-bodied blonde beer with a faint sweetness. P: Full mouthfeel. O: Pretty standard fare for a blonde ale, although the sweetness needs a bit more complexity to make it work.

rauchbier (3925) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2016
Bottle. Lemon gold, fluffy and persistent white head and gentle condition. Pleasantly spicy and yeasty on the nose with some Duvel-like notes, quite malty sweet with a hint of honeyed Bohemian hops. Soft yet full bodied in the mouth with an initial yeasty sweetness and a slightly spicy edge but allowing the odd shaft of grainy malt and pleasant hop bitterness to shine briefly through.Finish is restrained and spicy with a background of chalky hop bitterness and a little fruity maltiness.
