330ml bottle. Clear pale straw, white head. Aroma of grains, melon, honey, floral notes. Taste follows nose with some spice and yeast. Refreshing and better than expected.

(Rating #7528)

Hazy golden colour with thin head. Nose is timid, with delicate aromas of rose petals and rose hips; did not get any of the ’melon’ notes everybody is writing about. Bad batch? Taste is bland and a bit thin on the palate, but without any major flaw. The concept was alluring, so I was rather disappointed. Will give this beer a second try.

330ml bottled 2016-11-17. Pour clear sparcling pale golden with a nice dense white foam that slowly reduce to some cloud and a ring. Aroma is from a pale lager, same for the taste except for some bread notes. I don’t feel the rice and nether the hops. Medium body and high carbonation for the style. Long lager malt finish. Drank at 6 degree.

(Embu. 17 nov. 16) (2114-020317)

My Bottom Line:
This surprisingly complex low-gravity brew develops plenty of bananas, citrus fruit, flowers and herbal hop bitterness in a svelte and bubbly mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy white.
-The flavour profile is soft enough and the body dry enough to be a really quenching brew.
-Rice appears halfway through, adding even more nuances.
-Will need to get more of this!

Pours a hazy golden with a medium white head that leaves pretty nice patterns on the glass. Nose is of bananas, rice pudding with some nice fruity moments. Taste is more of the fruits, floury cereals, rice and lightly bitter. A bit sweet, really, I wish it was crisper. Moderate body and carbonation. Overall a pretty good experiment, similar to Tete d’Allumette’s Blanche Neige et les 7 grains in a lot of ways (especially the rice milk substitue impressions).

Bottle 330ml. Pours hazy blond with low white head. Aroma is of bannanas, fruits, weizen-like yeast. Taste is of bannanas, weizen-like yeast, fruits, rice. Palate: Medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: Ok. Nothing really off, but not that much of a good idea either.

bottle shared by tom10101, thanks dude! pours unclear gold with a small reviving white head offering good retention and lacing. delicate spicy phenolic esters, unripened bananas, hay, pale cereals - rice, i guess; basmati angles with its floral jasmine notes, soap, cloves, yellow melons indeed, salt. bright carbonation, light body - very watery; dry spicy-peppery finish. nice delicate rice concoction with soft floral and phenolic notes.

Bottle (341 ml), shared. Clear pale golden with a small white head, good retention, leaving good lacing. Aroma of yeasty (weizen like), honeydew melon, peppery notes and mild generic fruitiness. Taste is of banana, honeydew melon, generic fruitiness, rice and mild peppery notes. Light body. Medium carbonation. Melon finish. Easy drinking but otherwise bland.
