A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, lemon and mineral water. In mouth, a lemon flavoured mineral water with light signs of malt. Bottle from Peluso, 1.49$.

(Rating #3250)

My bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma is big-time Lime Cordial. Flavour tastes like a Soft Drink, not beer-like at all, like a Lime Pop. Average bodied. If you are looking for something like Lime Pop then here you go -- me, not so much.

August 19, 2010 - 341ml bottle shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Ugly-looking beer (2-) - pale yellow, flat-looking, minimal bright white diminishing head. Smells nothing like beer - more like Wink (the Canada Dry soft drink) - generic lime with adjuncts I probably don’t want to know anything about. Taste - WTF? - like lime juice strained through dead weeds. So stingingly carbonated I have no idea if it was thick OR watery - and an ugly long sour fake-citrus finish to it.

Boutip (6433) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2010
Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color beer with a medium pure white foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lime is quite dominant with notes of extract clearly identifiable. Taste is also dominated by lime with some sort of extract that was used as well as a faint malt presence. Body is quite light with OK carbonation. Not something I would buy regularly but better then Bud Lime.

Chihuahua Mexicaine served with a slice of lime. A fairly clear gold with a thin filmy head. 3.5% light grains and lime zest not a bad aroma. Light bodied but smooth, the taste is earthy, light malts and lime. Tons of lime, looks like beer tastes like earthy lemonade. Yum. A good table beer for summer.

On tap at the brewpub. There is really nothing else to say about this one excet, mr clean. This smelled like a bottle of mr clean! The lime is so over powering its turned it into a citrus cleaner! Try it in your bathroom!

Brown 341ml bottle. Very clear golden beer with a white head that dissapear rapidly. Particuliar nose with some lime. The mouth is even more bizarre with a taste of zest but with the acre taste of the pit (the white part of the skin). Not for me.

Spab (3973) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2014
341 ml bottle from St. Nicholas Metro. Pours a cloudy golden colour with modest-sized, quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is quite limey, a lot of salt and light grains. Flavour is artificial lime, lots of saltiness and a bit of graininess. Decent enough body given ABV. Decent for style.

Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle 341ml. Pours crystal clear blond with low white head. Aroma is of lime, hops. Taste is of lime, hops, fruits, grain. Palate: Very ligth body. Overall: Lots of lime, and citrus. Extreme drinkability, enhanced by low abv. I don’t think this can be appreciated by someone who seeks a real "beer". I find this can be nice as an alternative to lemonade, on a hot summah day.
