Bottle 341ml. Pours clear pale blond with almost no head (white). Aroma is of sweetness, corn?, malt, flowers, honey. Taste is of sweetness, malt, corn?, sligth bitterness. Palate: ligth body. Overall: Easily drinkable. Thin. Better than expected. Still... better served cold...

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light cornish and slight grassy. Bitter, light malty and vague cornish flavoured. Medium dry and bitter finish.

I feel slightly inclined to write part of this review in French, since it’s Montrealaise, but I’ll just be on the Anglo-side of the city and stay en Anglais. Crisp, clear slightly orange golden blonde coloured body with a large, thick off-white head that leaves a lace on the glass. Aroma of fresh malt, light hops, citrus, a bit of caster sugar and some very mild coriander seed freshness. Light-bodied; Fresh malt flavour with some very subtle corn and yeast with an odd fake-sugar sweetness. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, but left mostly mild from the lack of real flavours and complexity. Overall, not such a great beer, but perhaps good and fresh when the weather is very hot - when is that in Montreal?!? I sampled this 341 mL bottle purchased from Marche Des Saveurs in Montreal, Quebec, Canada for CA$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 24-January-2011.

Aroma has soft malt hints. There’s little head, and a weak orange body. Flavour is a smooth hoppy lager taste. Smooth mouthfeel. It’s drinkable and simple.

Bottle PELUSO - pours clear gold tinge of copper. Smell-wise, I’ll go with the ketchup chips comment, weird acidic tomato and stale potato aromas, grainy. Taste is also a bit grainy but has some pale sweet fruit, swirling bitter hop middle thru finish. Can’t say if its corn-like but definitely chewing on some cereal flakes here. This is a gritty kitty drank from bottle, and I was almost digging the beers fresh at the pub. Two beers from these guys I pour in the sink today! Hope you Ontario fish like it.
