341ml bottle. Pours black with a nearly one finger, mocha head that thins to a film and ring. Very mild lacing. Big notes of cocoa/ milk chocolate, and roasted malts dominate the aroma. Taste is an interesting sweet that changes as it moves in the mouth. Bitter chocolate and roasted malt to start, then milk chocolate, then almost a coffee bitterness to finish. Medium-full body with a low-medium carbonation. A touch creamy in the mouth with a semi-dry finish. Overall I like it. It is chocolaty and full bodied. I’d buy again for those cold winter nights. Cheers!

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2017 A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light cacao beans, light vanilla, light powdery character and faint oxidation. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light acidity, light ground cherry, light fruity esters, nice and smooth, still solid after 6 years.

Black without much in the way of foam. Rich chocolate/cocoa liqueur. Decent roast and coffee, too. A light earthiness on the back end. Flavor is decently bitter and has a moderate sweetness. Nice cocoa powder and bitter dark chocolate. Hints of berry in the background as well as roast and coffee. Nice.

Never been big on Stouts, but decided on this one. Chocolate aroma, a thin dark fine head, hop tasting. Light Stout. Wanting a light first time Stout, this is worth the try. chocolate, caramel, didn?t really find a coffee taste to it. Doesn?t feel like a meal :-P

After reviewing their vanilla and coffee version, I decided to do this one, as I found the other to be pretty much cocoa and vanilla. Did not find much coffee. This one looks just like the other (dark brown, mocha head) but this one has way more lacing. Chocolate malt aromas with what seems to be some vanilla (which was in the other). The taste is roasted and chocolate malts with again, some mild bitterness from the hop, in the finish. Everything seems a little lighter than the other version. Also seems like they had the labels on the wrong bottles. Still, pretty good stouts for both.

On tap. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, tootsie rolls, and light roast. Flavor of bitter chocolate, more fudgy chocolate mid mouth and some vanilla and roast in the finish. A tasty, super chocolatey stout. 8/4/8/4/14 (3.8/5)

Aroma fuerte, intenso, envolvente.
