500 ml bottle from Drummondville Metro. Pours a very dark brown with mocha-coloured head that leaves some lace. Aroma is quite roasty with lots of coffee, a little dark chocolate and some sweet toffee. Flavour has a strong roasty character with notes of coffee, sweetish toffee, dark chocolate and a bit of herbal bitterness. Fine carbonation. Good one. Kauge (2124) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 4, 2016
Tap at Le Saint-Bock in Montréal. Brown with copper/ruby. Toasty aroma with sourish berries. Leafy, earthy. Tastes toasty and sweet, finishes grainy. Not too bad, but again, not exactly what I’d expect when ordering a Porter. paco (576) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAR 29, 2016
