You like refreshing fruit beer? You love a hoppy beer? Which one would you enjoy most? Imagine both combined! Our pale ale Framboise is brewed with real raspberries. Pours a fairly clear orange or maybe dark golden with a reddish tint with a small fragmented white head that leaves pretty good lacing. Nose is of jammy raspberries, a bit sugary. Taste also offers some leafy raspberries with a slight jamminess to it. A noticeable bitterness (low to medium). I didn’t think it could work but it seems like it does! Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Mouthfeel is a bit syrupy. Not bad at all!

Has a soft aroma raspberry kick aroma but nothing else on the nose. Has an okay modest head and clear brown body. Flavour is well balanced between grain and raspberry. Medium finish. It’s not bad at all really.

Pour a cloudy pinkish amber topped by about two fingers of frothy pinkish head showing great retention and lacing properties. Very vivid carbonation seen through the robe. The nose is light sweet raspberry, and resinous hops. The taste is similar, but the raspberry element holds very little sweetness and is rather expressed through a notable bitterness pairing nicely with the resinous hops. Good sharpness, medium body and light tart. Good refreshing product. Cheers!

Pour is muddy brown with reddish hints that aren’t really red but are? Nose is raspberry jam, faint floral hops, honey and bread. Taste is....like a raspberry wine spritzer with a bitter finish. Lacks sweetness, for my tastes, but it’s refreshing on a warm night like tonight.

500ml bottle shared with wife. Aroma: raspberries, cereals, dough. App: hazy orange pinkish, small white head. Taste and palate: medium body, pasty, silky, moderate carbonation, light bitter finish. Overall: like the aroma but didn’t enjoy the pasty feeling but liked that it was a tad bitter.

500 ml bottle. Pours a murky orange-pinkish brown with a resilient white-pinkish head. Aroma is raspberry, sour, caramel, bitter. Flavor is raspberry, malt, caramel, dry cereal. Finish is hoppy, herbal, strong bitterness, some tartness. Lingering fruity notes. Full body, velvety mouthfeel, medium to full body.

(Rating #5751)

Very light pink colour. Very carbonated. The claim is pure raspberry but there is a synthetic element. Could be better. So-so drinkability.
