Opaque black pour with a small dark tan head. Nose has loads of dark chocolate with coffee, vanilla, dark fruit and some resin. Lightly sweet caramel under a medium bitter chocolate and coffee. Medium full creamy mouth with soft carbonation and a linger dry bitter finish. Nice easy sipping balance. HippyHop (656) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
Finally something to write home about from this brewery. I’ve enjoyed a handful of their offerings, but nothing has really wowed me until I tried this bad boy.
Pour is typical stout black with a fizzy tan cap. Nose is chocolate and coffee, roasted grain, caramelized sugar. Taste sweet caramel and tons of dark cocoa and coffee goodness with just the right amount of alcohol warmth. Mouthfeel is creamy, with medium carbonation. Finishes with lingering bitter cocoa and coffee aftertaste. In short, well-executed and exactly as advertised.

Boom! Killer beer! Very oily and sweet stout, with strong coffee taste. The nose is light compared to the power of the beer. Taste last for a while in the mouth, giving roasted and sweet notes. Very balanced, just great! KansaiBeerLvrs (5141) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 12, 2014
L’Exploite was served as a Montreal style cream ale(meaning a Nitro pour) at the brewery. It has a great roasty chocolate/coffee totally mocha aroma. Incredibly smooth and satisfying stout - a double prize winner WBC gold and WBA gold. Which it totally deserved, this was a well-nigh spot on stout. jaghana (6065) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - SEP 15, 2014
