Enjoyed at Les Brasseurs du Temps. Pours a dark brown colour with copper highlights, a beige head and creamy bottom lacing. Aromas are fruity from the tea over the roasted malts. The tea adds a nice touch of fruitiness (kind of berries) and spices (almost minty) to the taste as some dark fruits lingers. Interesting fruity roasted malt brew that seems like a nice twist on a porter. Lubiere (13954) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2017
A deep dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light black tea, light curacao, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light berries, dark fruits, light tea notes, light and smooth. On tap at L’autre oeil. czar (9171) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 22, 2016
on tap at le projet, qc. hazy medium dark brown pour with a small light beige cap offering some retention and lacing. burnt caramel, raisins, perfumey, some sweetness - licorice candies; jam purée - raspberry; obvious black tea, very fragrant and fresh like earl grey; salt, other minerals. moderate carbonation, light body, sweetish and kind of cloying perfumey-spicy finish. not amber, not american amd above all cloying - with a nice earl grey-like fresh black tea integration though.
