Bouteille 341 ml. 5%.
341ml bottle from Le Gobelet. pours a reddish brown with a massive off white head that lasts thoughout the beer. aroma is pretty weak, some roasted malts and a bit of a nutty scent. taste is simple, yet enjoyable. nothing complex going on here, lots of nutty flavours with some vanilla and roasted malts. slight bitter finish, easy to drink a couple. lots of carbonation and light bodied. not a bad beer, but i don’t think i’ll be buying again. Bière brune, 5 % d’alcool, très bon goût en bouche. Aucun goût amer, très agréable. Une bonne petite bière d’avant souper ! jejosephine (5) - USA - AUG 20, 2010 does not count
Ma bière favorite de l’été. Belle couleur mais peu de mousse. caramel, cereal, amber, clear, minimal head, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, bboeckl (142) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 10, 2010
Pours a dark caramel brown with decent head. Head dissipated quickly. Very Malty aroma. Roasted malts highly present in aroma and taste. Mouthfeel is excellent... proper carbonation. Body is a bit thin and watery. Fairly 1 dimensional in it’s caramel roasted malt taste. Quenches the thirst more than satisfies the hunger.

Pours a reddish brown. Aroma is wood and smoke. Taste is mostly wood but malt mouthfeel. Taste is too subdued for my likes. Pretty average beer. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 20, 2010
Rich caramel and malt aroma, quite fruity. nice mahogany colour with a crisp off white head. Lively carbonation. Malt flavour with a tangy finish. Thin woody texture towards the end. JulienHuxley (5909) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 24, 2009

Recent ratings are lower than many previous ones. It is still a good beer, with a powerful roasted malt taste, distant notes of sweetness, and a hoppiness I first thought boring but that I came to appreciate its fruityness and persistant slighlty-tingling mouthfeel.
