Solid foam, stormy carbonation, golden body, purty beer she says. Aroma is heavy hops with little swampwater cabbage hints here and there. Flavour is apricot, orange zest and Irish poteen alcoholism. Medium finish, a bit oily but not too much. Solid boozer beer here, I shoulda bought a few more for a nice smashed saturday night.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a nice lasting white head. Aroma of cereal, milk and banana. Taste is slightly bitter but has sweet hints. Palate is nice and creamy like a nice Belgian ale. Overall a very good ale.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 20, 2016
Cloudy golden color with storming glass clinging activity. Frothy beige 3 finger head, lasting 10-15 minutes, creaming strong lacing. Flavors of lemony citrus and orange, roasted sweet grains, clove, coriander, caramel, yeast, floral and herbal spices. Nice bread feel with a high degree of sweetness, while very sharp and zesty. Smooth light body with champagne like carbonation. Strong finish of moderate length, ending with a crispy citrus feel, grassy noble spices, and faint banana yeast. Overall this is a very good quality craft. Tasty fruity flavors, pleasant malty feel and fresh grass. Well balanced and intensified, very fresh. A little strong on the spices, but calms down as it warms up.

This one pours a pretty sizeable amount of head, very foamy and thick bubbles. Has a deep coppery appearance. Aromas are heavy on hops and citrus types. Flavours are strongly hop influenced but also well balanced with barley malts and yeast is quite apparent in finish. Mostly citrus and some floral hop flavours. Pretty smooth mouthfeel. Some bitterness on the palate but to be expected and quite welcome. really good stuff for the price and quantity.

Hazy orange pour. Huge nutmeg and spicy aroma with big leafy hoppy notes. Big blend if Belgian Estery spice and hoppy bitterness. Delicious.

750ml. bottle shared with Quevillon. The color is a hazy honey with a thick off white head. The aroma is of a lot of hops plus sweet fruits like peaches. The taste also of hops and fruits plus a good mesure of yeast and some malt.

750ml bottle. Pours a cloudy rose-tinged gold with a two finger off-white head. On the nose, almost the entire spectrum of the citrus family. Lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit with yeast, light caramel, mineral notes, and a faint resinous note. Lightly sweet with soapy hop notes, grapefruit, light caramel, and mineral notes into Belgian yeast, more mineral notes, medium bitterness and more citrus, with some citrus pith in the finish. It’s very similar to Schneider Weisse’s Hopfenweisse, and I very much mean that as a compliment. Plus, it was incredibly well priced considering it was a 750ml bottle. I would 100% buy it again.

Stoned99 (1648) - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 1, 2016
341ml Bottle drank at family in law. Aroma: pineapples, caramel, spices. App: hazy golden with peach tint, medium white head, ok retention, great lacing. Taste and palate: medium to full body, lots of pineapples in mouth, clean dry light bitter finish. Overall: an ok offering from RJ. A bit too spicy. Body quite big too.

[7900-20151030] 750mL bottle. Mild orange grains and rose chocolate aroma. Hazy, dark orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Bitter orange petal and sandy yeast grains flavour. Medium-full body. Good, simple. (7/3/8/3/14) 3.5
