COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Very good beer I tasted it at the festibière de québec. It’s so far the best beer without gluten on the market very nice discovery. Good start for this new brewery!

16 ounce can. Honey gold color topped by a small bubbly white head tat quickly disappears. Faint grainy nose. Light sweet grainy notes. A hint of honey and lemon. Bready flavor in middle. Light dry finish.

Chilled and into a nonic. Straw gold and bright as bright. Highly charged and highly effervescent but it all erupts to atmosphere headless. Strange, phenolic nose of polyurethane, truffle oil, silica gel and a little citrus. Ultra-featherweight in body with a pitting, carbonic acid front and crisp finish. Very thin for taste. Low to no hop. Slight citrus sweetness more akin to cordial than esters. Soft toasted note, may be the corn, may be the demerara. Phenolic, clove-like and plastic backdrop and aftertaste. Just nothing here to admire. And nothing in that nose to be tempted by! (50cL can, BB 09/09/17, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Clear golden pour with minimal aroma of grain and citrus. Bready flavor with some citrus. Meh.

I was apprehensive about trying this one since all three previous ones from the 4-pack were less than impressive. I had this one before supper as I was getting ready for the bbq, it wasn’t that bad for a gluten-free.

Cannette 473 ml. Arômes de levure avec houblons herbacés. Notes légèrement citronnées. Faible puissance.

A really clean great fresh tasting Gluten free beer (not extracted). A nice tight head and lots of flavour. I was over the moon to see this here in Australia! Not quite as good as the IPA from Glutenberg but still a great GF beer for the Australian Summers.

Pours clear, pale straw colour with a short lived white head. Aroma is very mild. Taste is sweet and crisp. There are notes of grapes, grain, floral hops, apple, and mineral water. Body is light and carbonation is moderate. It’s one of the best gluten free beers I’ve had, but if you don’t have to have gluten free it’s mediocre.

Pounder can from Whole Foods PM. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose is pale malt, hops, vinyl. Tastes pale malty, with hop notes, some bready flavors, mild citrus. This one was passable for this style, which is like saying a wedgie is passable for the one being bullied.

Can. Well, it turns out I’m a bigger fan of gluten than I ever thought. Okay, it’s not so bad. Some citrus, lot of corn to this one too. Finish is a bit acidic. Perhaps not a bad effort for what it’s trying to do.

(1997-111016)
