Hazy golden color, white head. Hoppy, citrus, bitter taste. Bitter, pith aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, high bitterness. Warming alcohol. Hoppy scent.

Poured from the tap. Clear yellow with minimal white head. Slightly sweaty biscuit malt with tropical citrus hops and subtle funk. Blends nicely.

On tap. Pours gold with moderate head. Aromas of fruit candy/gummy bears, pineapple, and rubber. Flavors of sweet tropical fruit, bitter lemon, and light resin. Very nice mix of flavors. Right on.

Draught at the brewery
12oz

Cloudy blond color with medium sized head. The hop aroma is penetrating; it’s fruity first, and then sweaty, a bit feral. The body is lean, with very moderate bitterness; good flavor of pale malts, with a yeasty/bready note, and powerful hopping; the bitterness is at the right level; the hop has an equal contribution of citrusy fruitiness and resins, but there is also a light peach touch, and citrus peel.
Harmonious, fresh, highly drinkable, and with perfect balance. One more food thing here is the way to hide the alcohol.
Great beer.

Sampled at Great Canadian Beer Festival. One tirck, but its the right trick. Excellent IPA with some melon, lemon and mango hop character over a mellow, biscuit malt base. Could do with more of this.

Dull hazy tan. Cat pee vinho verde citra nose. Strong pale malt, lots of citra/melon hop character. Lots of bitterness. I like this series a lot.

reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 9, 2014
12oz mug on tap at the brewery pours a golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and pine with some floral notes. Taste is a bold pine hop bitterness with an underlying lemony sourness and grainy malty sweetness. Well crafted and tasty, a definite must have when it is on tap.

Draught @ Brewpub

Pours clear yellowish golden with a smooth head. Aroma of citrus, fresh wet hops, fruits, grass and malts. Taste is fresh wet fruity hoppy, citrusy and lemony with some grassy and piney notes. Finish is fresh hoppy, citrusy and lemony. Nice and fresh IPA.

Growler from the brewery (thanks Josh), pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out skunky herbal hops, pine and biscuity notes. Flavour matches with lots of piney hops that coat the palate, with a nice biscuity malt backing. No malty sweetness in this version that lingers, which is a plus. Damn awesome IIPA and definitely the best of the series.
