Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, - FEB 3, 2014
Draft at brewery. Pink and hazy. The beer is thin, has little complexity, and no compelling features except for the pleasant astringency. Nothing right or wrong, with soft drink character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Pours an opaque rose cherry color with a white head. Aroma is slightly smokey, floral, hibiscus notes. Kind of hibiscus saison. Same character taste and aftertaste. Just didnt realize why they call it Belgian Wit with hibiscus, IMHO it is Saison with hibiscus.

Visual: (growler fill) Pours a pretty cloudy pink grapefruit pink with a small dissipating head, thin ringed retention, lots of lively activity. Nose: hibiscus, banana wheat malts. (lvl-4)-pungency Attack: crisp fizzy, clean fruity entry Mid-palate: (lvl-4)-sweetness, subdued low-med sourness throughout, (MAIN) hibiscus, light strawberry, banana wheat malt Finish: banana dry exhale, burpy, bready finish. Summary: An easy-drinking fruity witbier very similar to Dieu du Ciels Rose dHibiscus (C+), but cleaner and better without the barnyard funk.

mcberko (16927) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 19, 2015
473mL growler, pours a bright opaque pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of hibiscus, followed by faded citrus and wheaty notes. Flavour is very fruity, bringing out notes of hibiscus and raspberries upfront, followed by wheat in back. Very bright, refreshing and well-constructed. Very enjoyable wit.
