COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moo Joos combines the full body of a Milk Stout with the silky smoothness of an Oatmeal Stout. Lactose sugar in the boil contributes a full and creamy mouthfeel while toasted and flaked oats in the mash round out the beer with an oily texture. A deep malt bill builds layers of roasty notes with hints of chocolate, coffee and anise. A traditional British Cask Yeast is then pitched, which leaves us with a fruity, malty ale.

Pours a dark brownish black pour with a beautiful large mocha head. Nose is chocolate, coffee, licorice and malty. Taste is full of malt, with sweet chocolate, and espresso. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter, nice sweet stout. Quaff 8 / 10

Pours brown with a frothy, e tan head and sweet aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is toasty and burnt, of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel with a long, toasty finish. A nice, solid sweet stout.

Pours a thick black color with a touch of mocha foam. On the nose its sweet chocolate, oreo cookie and roasted malts. On the palate its very close to the nose with a full body smooth richness thats quite nice. Nice bit of lactic on the mid to late palate cleans up the finish nicely.

Bottle. Poured a deep dark brown with no real head to speak of. Aroma was sweet, with a little chocolate and dark malt. The flavor followed this with some slight burnt taste and a hint of coffee. Very slight bitter finish. Just a little runny, but overall a good brew. Id seek it out again.

Had it on tap at Jack OConnors. Almost no head. Dark brown almost black in color. Sweet taste and sweet finish. I would look for this beer again.

bottle. pours well. not too heavy a head. slightly bitter/burnt taste to start with a satisfying, sweet finish. usually not a huge fan of this style, but this isnt too heavy. would not hesitate to buy another six-pack.

12oz bottle picked up in Duluth. Opaque brown-black with a massive, steady, soapy rusty beige head. A rather well made offering, nails the style. Big milk chocolate tones, some nice bready oats. Subtle balance of bitterness, from the cocoa to the hops. Lots of lactic tones. Bitingly bitter up front, but fades into a sweet finish. Solid.
