Bottle. Pours black with a light brown halo that fades fast and leaves no lacing. Aroma is heavily sweet and creamy, like real vanilla ice cream. Enjoyed via a bottle from Woodman’s in Menomonee Falls, WI. Pours a dark brown/black with a medium tan head that fades quickly to a thin tan ring. Lacing on the glass. Pours to a black body with a thin tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate revel bars. It has that sweetened condensed milk chocolate brownies, oats, and barley. The flavor has a dry charcoal roast. Super dry for a sweet stout. Black patent malts, licorice, and chocolate. Almost something like a prune. The palate is medium bodied and dry.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pure black color with a medium creamy beige head. A sweet nose of cocoa, vanilla, and light roast. A very unique flavor with hints of tartness from the British Cask Yeast I think, some cocoa, a somewhat thin palate, vanilla and coffee. Tap. Darker khaki head on a nearly black body. Oats chocolate and some sweet grainy notes in the aroma. Nice dark chocolate, oats, vanilla, slight caramel sweetness and a bitter coffee finish. Medium to lighter body. Not bad.
