Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting creamy brown head. Aromas of roastiness, bitter chocolate, vanilla, carmel and light coffee. Bottle. Poured a black color with a medium off-white creamy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium toasted chocolate malt and coffee aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium roasted bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours near black with a dark brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma roasted malts and tobacco with a bit of sweet chocolate underlying. Flavor has more sweet chocolate and sweet dark grains with a bit of a tobacco bite towards the finish.
