Pours black with a thin beige head that has great retention. Aroma is roast, chocolate, grain, earth and planty hops. Flavor is roast, chocolate, an odd nutty note, sort of like what comes out as a nutty note to me in some cheddar cheeses, not a bad way to be likened to cheese for a beer... Medium, sticky entry leading to an oily finish and a moderate carbonation. Not bad at all. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 16, 2011
Black pour from a 12oz bottle. Small brown head. Aroma of a chocolate milk shake with added coffee. Lactose and cocoa everywhere. Flavor is very sweet and milky as well. Has a slight sourness to it...this concerns me slightly. That being said, this is mostly what I look for in a milk stout. HUGE milkiness is a big plus! Bottle. Dark brown pour with a smallish head. Toasted oats and sweetness on the nose. Taste is similar - the milk comes out. Good stuff. Tmoney99 (14968) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 2, 2011
Bottle. Poured a black color with a medium off-white creamy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium toasted chocolate malt and coffee aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium roasted bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of cream, coffee, roasted malts and toast. Very dark ruby hue that sits almost black in the glass. Small tan head that left good lace. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitterness. Palate is light bodied and light carbonation. Overall a nice stout.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting creamy brown head. Aromas of roastiness, bitter chocolate, vanilla, carmel and light coffee. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roastiness, coffee and bitter chocolate with a smooth lingering roasty finish. dannighe (2) - - SEP 4, 2012 does not count
A good oatmeal stout, but not as smooth as some of the other ones out there. Definitely worth a try though. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Pours to a black body with a thin tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate revel bars. It has that sweetened condensed milk chocolate brownies, oats, and barley. The flavor has a dry charcoal roast. Super dry for a sweet stout. Black patent malts, licorice, and chocolate. Almost something like a prune. The palate is medium bodied and dry. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Tap @ Republic Minneapolis. Pours a dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Roasty, dark coffee, chocolate, vanilla, lightly burnt flavor. Burnt s’mores, vanilla, dark chocolate, milky flavor. Pretty tasty.
