Bottle. Brown black pour with a tight kahki head that dissipates to a collar. Aroma nice cereal and coco coffee along with a roasted malt. Tastes is bitter roasted malt and chocolaty roasted burnt malt. Palate is medium nice fizzy carbonation and finishes chaulky. septimius (14) - Broomfield, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2011
aroma has a lot of coffee and some chocolate as well as dark fruit and the smallest hint smoke. also something like scotch or brandy. tastes of cocoa, coffee, dulce de leche. very smooth and not overly sweet. Bradbalk (9) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - AUG 7, 2011 does not count
Poured a deep dark and opaque brown with a light inch of tan head, quickly becoming a light tan ring. No lacing to speak of.
The smell is dominated by dark fruit and coffee with hints of burnt black malt and smoke.
The flavor is very sweet and creamy in a very classic milk stout way. Nice hints of light smokey flavors along with coffee and some dark fruits. A bit of light astingency but not so much to detract from the beer to noticeably.
The mouthfeel is light and creamy, even a bit sticky.
A pretty solid Milk Stout overall and nicely drinkable. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Bottle courtesy of graniteskunk. Pours dark brown with a dissipating light brown head. Smells of roasted malt, some coffee hints, light earthy notes. Tastes of Roasted malt, chocolate, some licorice hints, coffee, some mild bitterness on the finish. Enjoyable. Nuffield (4169) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 29, 2011
The rating for this is right on. It’s a rather attractive stout with some oat flavor and that subtle lactose sweetness, but also a well-rounded stout flavor. The body is average, but it is very drinkable, with the English malty/fruity stuff going on that the commercial description trumpets. Bottle.

Thick brown-black pour, not much head. Aroma is sweet milk and chocolate. Taste is chocolate, coffee, sweet and bitter blend. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Pours a thick black color with a touch of mocha foam. On the nose its sweet chocolate, oreo cookie and roasted malts. On the palate its very close to the nose with a full body smooth richness thats quite nice. Nice bit of lactic on the mid to late palate cleans up the finish nicely. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Black/mocha color, thin tan head. Aroma mostly milk chocolate, slight coffee. Light to medium body..too thin. Seems watered down to me. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - FEB 22, 2013
An opaque dark brown color with a creamy mocha head and decent lacing. Roasty aroma with light coffee and milk chocolate. Subtle hint of fruit. Taste begins with roast and coffee flavors then bittersweet chocolate and a lactose flavor. Mouthfeel is fairly creamy and full bodied but not as much as I expected. Carbonation is medium/ high. Decent attempt at a oatmeal and a milk stout but doesn't really impress as either.
