Bottle. Brown black pour with a tight kahki head that dissipates to a collar. Aroma nice cereal and coco coffee along with a roasted malt. Tastes is bitter roasted malt and chocolaty roasted burnt malt. Palate is medium nice fizzy carbonation and finishes chaulky. septimius (14) - Broomfield, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2011
aroma has a lot of coffee and some chocolate as well as dark fruit and the smallest hint smoke. also something like scotch or brandy. tastes of cocoa, coffee, dulce de leche. very smooth and not overly sweet. Bradbalk (9) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - AUG 7, 2011 does not count
Poured a deep dark and opaque brown with a light inch of tan head, quickly becoming a light tan ring. No lacing to speak of.
The smell is dominated by dark fruit and coffee with hints of burnt black malt and smoke.
The flavor is very sweet and creamy in a very classic milk stout way. Nice hints of light smokey flavors along with coffee and some dark fruits. A bit of light astingency but not so much to detract from the beer to noticeably.
The mouthfeel is light and creamy, even a bit sticky.
A pretty solid Milk Stout overall and nicely drinkable. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Bottle courtesy of graniteskunk. Pours dark brown with a dissipating light brown head. Smells of roasted malt, some coffee hints, light earthy notes. Tastes of Roasted malt, chocolate, some licorice hints, coffee, some mild bitterness on the finish. Enjoyable. Nuffield (4195) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 29, 2011
The rating for this is right on. It’s a rather attractive stout with some oat flavor and that subtle lactose sweetness, but also a well-rounded stout flavor. The body is average, but it is very drinkable, with the English malty/fruity stuff going on that the commercial description trumpets. Bottle.

Bottle from Champanes,
this stout had a black-brown pour with a three to four finger head of light tan to tan colored bubbles, the effervescence was hard to see since the beer was opaque but I do see some good streams of bubbles at the side of the glass, this drink left small spots and small fingers of lacing on the glass, there were brown spots and slivers of sediment? on the bottom of the bottle,
the aromas were roasted malt with chocolate, a little coffee with milk chocolate and malt sweetness,
the flavors were roasted malt with some chocolate and a little coffee, caramel and chocolate sweetness,
the finish had a little bite from roasted malt and some coffee while roasted malt and sweetness trails afterwards on the tongue,
the mouth feel was about medium and gave a little creamy feel on the palate,
this sweet stout had nice aromas and flavors with a sweetness that balances the beer for the most part, it is not overly sweet,
the presentation was very nice, and it was easy to drink.
