Thin tan head
aroma is coffee and nice milky chocolate.
Roasted malt flavour, chocolate. Medium sweetness. Light burnt bitterness in the finish.

Heavily roasted grain. Black beer. Medium sweet with lactose. Clear, smooth palate. A solid lacto/sweet stout. ICEatALAMO (1358) - Troy, Michigan, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Overall not a bad everyday Stout. Not much of an aroma. Apprearance was nice and dark, with a thin rich brown head. Alcohol was not overpowering and the taste was smooth until the last sip. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Bottle. Pours black with a light brown halo that fades fast and leaves no lacing. Aroma is heavily sweet and creamy, like real vanilla ice cream. Very creamy mouthfeel with big roasted malts, chocolate, and a hint of burnt coffee. Definitely a sweet, milky aftertaste. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle from khoffman43 pours deep dark amber with a tan head with little retention. Nose of coffee grinds. Taste begins with coffee grinds, light chocolate. Mild bitterness as most of balance comes from the roast. Body is medium, if not a tad thin.

Bottle. Pours black with a small head that quickly fades to a ring. Aroma is nice, chocolate milk, light roasted coffee, anise, and a light fruitiness. Taste is a tad bland but not bad. Chocolate, coffee, anise, and cream, but all are muted. Medium to thick body, very creamy, slight chalky too. Ok sweet stout. freeofthoughts (688) - Raytown, Missouri, USA - SEP 18, 2013
Pours very deep brown near black with a ring of soda like fizz. Light aromas of roasted grains and kind of a cream soda vanilla thing. Smooth crisp flavor starting out with a sweet sparkling carbonated light grain but passing through a light hearted British malty fruity ale thing to a final resting place that brings out a light chocolate coffee bitterness and roasted tones held under but the light sweet nature of the overall beer. Earthy dark character with a hint of creaminess and toasted bread burnt on the corners. Decent brew for a modest sweet stout. Sledutah (8082) - Utah, USA - OCT 6, 2014
