Really nice complexity with relatively good balance. Found this to be quite pleasant and inviting of the 2nd Pint! bpreo (2943) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 26, 2012
a nice combination of a milk and an oatmeal stout. it has an interesting dry aftertaste, which is very appealing. BeerKurve (520) - - JAN 11, 2014
Pitch Black with a Khaki-Colored head and good lacing. Aroma of oatmeal, chocolate, floral hops, roasted barley and yeast. Very Oatmeal and chocolate forward with a hint of caramel and hops. Heavy body and mild-to-moderate carbonation; Creamy texture. Good Oatmeal Stout! BeerBeforeH20 (129) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 16, 2014
Nice roasted malt and chocolate aroma, smooth and well balanced tatse with a lovely lactose finish. Really good stout. FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 3, 2011
A - Pitch black with a small, foamy, bubbly, thinish, cafe colored head. Disappears pretty fast leaving a slightly patchy, thin lace.
S - Interesting aroma. Starts with a slightly smokey, roasted malt. This gives way to a chocolate and espresso aroma with a slight sweetness. A faint vinous tart/astringent aroma.
T - Starts with the faint charred, smokey flavor. This quickly fades to a milk and dark chocolate along with a hint of roasted coffee. Hints of sweet lactose/creamy taste starts here with a nice undertone. Finishes with a slight tart and earthy flavor.
M - Medium body and good carbonation. Very silky smooth. Really nice body.
D - Easy to drink with interesting mix of flavors. Taste like a milk stout along with a smokey and slightly tart flavor. I could regularly drink this.
Notes: Interesting milk stout. Nice flavors with an interesting smokey kick. Great body and nice flavor. Not amazing, but very nice.

Thanks to Bob for the bottle! Poured clear, deeper ambery-brown with a sticky cap of dark tan head.. looked very good in the glass. The aroma picked up sweet, milky chocolates and buttery notes with a hint of molasses-crusted biscuity notes beneath.. sweet, smooth, and very desserty impression.. I very much enjoyed it. The flavor found buttermiky-y chocolates, smooth rolled oats, and vanilla at the core, with light earthy and cocoa bitterness around.. more milky chocolates and complementary roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium-bodied with a very smooth feel across the palate.. the levels and placement of bitterness and roast worked perfectly.. just excellent stuff. This was surprisingly good, and I hope more people get to try it when it’s fresh. DasBierChef (1084) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 17, 2011

Pours deep black with lactose notes and light vanilla sweetness. A light creamy texture which allows th lactose dominate with a fabulous nuanced bit of toasted sweet grains. Nice oily finish. Love this stout! DoublEE (781) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2013
The taste is has some nice smooth chocolate with some creamy sweetness. The mouthfeel is almost velvety, very very smooth, but somewhat light. Overall, I honestly can’t find anything that I really don’t like about this brew. It’s incredibly drinkable. Awesome stuff. shrubber85 (11618) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 29, 2017
Bottle. Coffee, milk chocolate, oat malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate brown head. Moderately sweet milk chocolate, oats, malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body. Very good.
