It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt and bread. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, bread, flower and light fruit. The finish is slightly dry and spicy. a very nice helles.

(bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet malty and slightly worty with herbal and slightly woody aroma. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malty base with chalky notes and herbal hoppy accents; dry and mildly malty finish with herbal and woody hops. Another hearty and pleasant brew by Bräu im Moos. 16.VI.10

Bottle( copyright by joss!): Greenish-golden, smaller stable lacy white head; distinctive pale-malty and grainy nose with a subtle "woody" hoppy background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, relatively soft; woody hops return in the sweet-bitter finish. Very good Export.....

glennmastrange (2871) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 1, 2016
Bottle. Light aromas all around with grain straw for the malt, dried grass for the hops, dried leaves for the yeast, with a hint of paper. Head is average size, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic. Palate is light to medium, watery with a soft to lively carbonation. A perfect summertime Helles. I drank loads of these in Bavaria.

0,5 l Flasche aus einem lokalen Getränkemarkt. Dunkelgelb, klar, mit einem Kohlensäurestrang in der Mitte, einer cremigen Schaumkrone und starkem lacing. Riecht grasig, leicht süßlich. Leckeres Export

Bottle at ronnies. Aroma is minimal but pale gariny lager malts are key. Taste is quite thin and watery pale sweetish malts. If anythign very easy to drink.

Clear straw colored pour. Big white, foamy head. Lacing galore. Hints of banana and lemon, grass. And yeast. Yeasty malt flavor. Bitter. Not bad. A bit thin.

Shaney (2423) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2013
Mittelgelbes Gold, feinporiger Schaum. Hellmalziges Aroma. Lieblich malziger Antrunk mit blumiger Note. Karamellmalziger Geschmack mit gewisser, kerniger Würze. Der Hopfen ist wohl dosiert. Gut zwischen Süße und Herbe ausgewogen. Daumen hoch!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm malzig würzig, minimale Bitterkeit.
