Ceramic mug. Frothy head. Big herbal hop aroma. Bitter, herbal and with a bit of a rustic taste. Full body, great balance. Immensely quaffable with a rich bitterness. MartinT (10036) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 1, 2011
My Bottom Line : Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2010
This well-rounded German Pilsener promotes balanced honeyed malts and herbal hops for a very drinkable, polished pint.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A ring of foam surrounds the clear golden.
-Malts also offer hay-like flavors.
-Herbal hop bitterness follows through with the same moderate intensity as the hop flavor.
-This is not a thin example at all. Malt sugars are healthy and carbonation well calculated to produce a cushy mouthfeel.
On tap at the brewery gasthof.
It’s golden with a huge, white and creamy head. The aroma has notes of flower, malt, biscuits and light straw. The slightly sweet flavour has notes of malt, flower, biscuits and the finish is slightly bitter and nice and dry. It’s a truly nice pilsner. KyotoLefty (10675) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 1, 2015
Tap at the brewery. Clear golden color with a medium, fine head. Fruity, malty nose, a bit of apricot, orange. Sweet and fruity flavor, mostly stone fruits, stewed peach, apricots, melon. A bit of honey and biscuit. Soft and full, low carbonation. Not quite hoppy enough. Sweet, with a slightly prickly hop finish. Drinkable and tasty though.

Ontap at the brewery. Cleargoldcolour lasting white head. Quite hoppy especially on the finish. First beer of the day after a 5 mile cycle ride mostly uphill always tastes good. Malts are ok. Decent German pils.

Draft @ brewpub. In krug. Is golden with small lasting head and lacing. Aroma is earth, metals, and fresh grain. The palate is a little sticky, but quaffable. The flavors are sweet, grainy. More like a helles than a pils with a grassy finish and herbal nature throughout. It’s nothing special. KimJohansen (10497) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - NOV 1, 2009
Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma was malty with caramel and grassy hops. Flavour was malty with caramel, malty and grassy hops. Finished bitter. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 30, 2015
From draft at the brewery in Stegauragh. Clear pale gold with a short white head. Enjoyable Pilsner malt aroma is bready and cracker-y and speaks of fresh baked baguette, though some creep of saccharine is noticed as it warms and breathes. Crisp and clean and moderately sweet with medium bitterness. Hop flavor is a bit green and with notes of celery and mint but also some quiet but pleasant lemon juiciness. Crisp and smacking in the mouth, good acid and measured bitterness. Gulpable easy Pilsner, just wish it were more aromatic. pivnizub (10805) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - JUN 12, 2006
Bottle (bought at the brewery)Golden coloured, small, foamy white layer; malty, bready and also a bit toasted nose with a touch of honey and distinctive hoppiness; robust sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; sweet-grainy, malty finish with an aromatic bitterness. Very pleasant ! omhper (25713) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2008
