Bottle, picked up at landbierparadies. Quite a steady shade of deep golden with a lingering white head; aroma of hay and cold porridge; hints of stone fruits and plenty of slightly metallic bitterness. Nothing special but good quality like all Wagner offerings

500 ml bottle from Landbierparadies webshop, bb 10.02.2018
Deep amber, medium hazy body, with a big, stable, fluffy, rocky, lacing, light yellow head.
Aroma of bread, flowers, sweet grains, hay, some grass, some earth, some honey.
Tastes quite similar, with more smooth, sweet grains and some caramel, bitter-citric hops.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes quite bitter, floral, grainy, bready, a bit citric, a bit earthy, subtly sweet, with some lingering pine.

Tasty. Very smooth throughout, with some creamy balance, lovely floral and bready notes and a good noble hop bite towards the finish. Fully aromatic, but very quaffable at the same time. Outstanding Lager, characterful and balanced.

Pours clear, between amber and blonde. Small, nearly no head. Smell is rather mild, breadcrust , malty, white bread, bit doughy. Taste is surprisingly bitter. Strong malts, tad metallic, but not botheringly so. pretty strong bitterness though. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Unclear orange color with creamy large eggshell head. Aroma is bready, sulphuric fresh Zwickel flavours, citrusy, grassy, earthy, a touch nutty. Taste is bready, nutty, earthy, herbal hops. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. A very tasty Kellerbier that's more on the malty side.

Pours a clouded amber color, together with a huge, spongy and froth head. Smells of fresh cut grass, pine needles, hay and a soft toffee sweetness - simple, yet very intriguing at the same time. Perfectly soft carbonated, refreshing, light bodied beer, with a defining bright crispness. Utterly clean and balanced, keeps you drinking in big gulbs. Tastes of straw, with a nice bread flavor to it, revealing a chewy toffee quality, which gets immediately toned down by an uprising, noble hop bitterness. The hops provide an herbal bite, creating a pleasant dryness, which stays till the end. At the same time, a rustic, yet soft maltiness compliments to the hops, with just a light hay sweetness cutting through, among bread dough. Finishes incredibly well balanced between the dry herbs and the soothing, rural malt impression. This is amazing, I love every aspect of it. It looks great, its head won’t receed at all, smells and tastes awesomly focussed, drinks incredibly balanced and addictive.
