Poured a reasonable head with disappeared quickly as is the norm for the style. Pale amber colour, clear. Had a wheaty smell. This was the most bitter Märzen I´ve ever tasted. Had strong hoppy notes with hints of grass and malt. Not what I expected but nice.

0.5l bottle bought in Germany. Deep gold with a malty nose, faint hints of caramel and a slight white lacy head. Bread dough and pepper on the palate lead to a filling malty and faintly sweetcorn body then a dry grassy finish. Straightforward but nice.
