Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JUL 5, 2011
Malty! Bready sweet, weird bitterness, sugary. Minimal head atop yellow gold standard colored beer. Some sort of weird hop in this is doing something weird to my tongue and nose. Brand new and fresh.

Bottle. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and dark bread. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, same caramel and faint alcohol. Sweetish märzen –that’s it.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Golden color, ok creamy offwhite head. Malty aroma. Malty bready flavor, some grainy notes and some grassy hops.

turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2010
Pours a slightly-darker-than-medium amber. Hoppy aroma. Fairly interesting taste; not bad.

Dedollewaitor (16056) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 19, 2010
Bottle @ Brewery. Pours clear golden with a large creamy egg white head. Nose is grain and hay. Flavor is malty. Vegetables and lots of grain and bread. Dry bitter end. Medium bodied.

kappldav123 (6097) - GERMANY - JAN 24, 2010
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong, quite malty, then more and more spicy, also some wheaty notes. Finish a little bit metallically and dry, somehow hard. But all in all very drinkable. Good one!

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2009
bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour with a mid-sozed head. Malty nose. Intensively malty with a hint of caramel and dried fruit. Herbal-resiny hoppy in the finish. Well-balanced Märzen!

Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 6, 2009
Ceramic mug. Crazy aroma - full rich rye bread. There’s obviously diacetyl in this, but it melds fairly well with breadcrusty, chewy dark malts. The body suffers a little bit from the diacetyl but retains quite a bit of rich, charamelized chewiness, such that it is more effective than it ought to be.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 17, 2009
Bottle @ Landbierparadeis. Large rocky head in the krug. Has aroma of brown bread, German bread, including caraway. Is a mature aroma. Slick palate hints at possible diacetyl but it never really emerges The rye bread flavors continue and has a nice spicy caraway finish. Basically tastes like liquid rye bread to me.

MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2009
Bottle, 5.5%. Dusty aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty, medium bitterness. Good and flavourful.
