50cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Clear yellow color, small to medium sized white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly bitter. Don’t get a lot more. Average body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Clear pale yellow colour with a small to medium sized white head. Smells malts, somewhat hoppy, grassy. Tastes grassy, malty, somewhat cardboard but in a pleasant way. Thin to medium body, medium carbo.

gunnar (9330) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2013
On tap at a market stall at Maximilliansplatz, Bamberg. Pours in a ceramic mug, big creamy and fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet malty grains, some grass. Taste is fresh, citrussy and grassy hops all along to the finish. Nice one.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 6, 2012
On tap at fuerth night flea markets, served by girl guides. Pale amber with a steady head; aroma of peach syrup and hay; prickly and delicious with more bitterness than expected of a helles

ganache (6005) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 11, 2012
Bottle MHD 24.8. Sweet, very mild grain, it’s very floral but in a twisted way, sharper yet more oblique. Crisp-creamy lightish body. Dark golden with an off-white head.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 1, 2012
Bottle. The head is white and the body yellow-golden. Not very tasty a little bit of malt but more like water. I don´t need this one again, it needs more flavour.

Ernest (7745) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Rated at the brewery/restaurant Nov 2011. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with light notes of soap, metal, and sulfur. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Truly sad. Had high hopes here based on my friends’ good experience two years prior, but none of the lagers were any good on this day (the weissbier was good at least). Off notes abound here, and the finish was quite grainy. Very disappointing.

Bottle, at Plan B. A big, off-white to white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. Pale malts, fruityness and a nice grassy and flowery touch on the nose. The flavor has fruityness, pale malts, freshly mown grass and bitterness. The bitterness lingers. Dry, medium body and a bit too much carbonation, but not at disturbing levels. A very well brewed lager. 110527
