At a cafe in Wunderburg, Bamberg 14/07/2011. Golden, slightly hazy, with a decent white head and touch of carbonation. Sweetish malts, a slightly herbal edge and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light hoppy, citrus notes, soap notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091221]

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2014 2009: fom vass at du sonne in bischberg. clear light yellow colored body with lively effervescence and a white cream puff head. estery, dusty, minerally dough in the nose - dirty, wonderfully hoppy and zesty. crisp and full-bodied, the perfect combination. prickly, zesty hop bitterness... this could easily be called a pils. bitter, dry, fresh, just really wonderful all-around.

2014: from draft at a gastette not near Bischberg. White white notes, lemon and grape and such. Clean, simple, slightly sweet, quiet hop character, rough carbonation. 3.2

Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma was malty with grassy hops and fruity notes. Malty flavour with with grassy hops, fruits and caramel notes. Finished dry and bitter.
