COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopfen: Polaris, Cascade Malz: PaleAle, Pilsener, Karamellmalz What makes the vanilla-colored Palor so special is a never-before-used variety of hops called Polaris. Along with Cascade – a hop variety favored among craft brewers – it lends Palor an exceptionally refreshing flavor.

MoritzF (10129) - Ottobrunn, - JUN 30, 2013
(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Cara-malty and delicately bready aroma with mildly herbal and grapefruity hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry cara-malt character with fruity and herbal, also a bit floral hops, leading into a dry and mildly bitter finish. Easy-going, but unspectacular Ale. 29.VI.13

Schnabelhund (108) - TAIWAN - SEP 29, 2017
Palor pours a clear amber color and its mid-lived head leaves a decent lacing behind. The nose is full of citric and floral hops and is simple but very pleasant. It is also rather simple on the palate. It opens with clean malts and goes on to unfold notes of citrus and gooseberry. Although the focus of this ale lies in the hops, the medium-short finish is on the subtle side of bitter. The mouthfeel is smooth and the carbonation is rather soft. Worth a try.

Erzengel (9613) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - SEP 4, 2017
Bottle from Real. Fresh fruity floral nose. The beer starts round and floral, smooth with sweetish grainy hints. Long mild smooth aftertaste, refreshing mild with a moderate bitter fruity ending. Nice.

Bottled. 20cl sample. The aroma has hay, light honey. Almost clear, golden-copper coloured beer with not much head. The taste is light bitter with some malty sweet. Bit above average carbonation with some metallic tones. Dry finish. Lacks hops. If this is an American pale ale then I am Donald Trump.

Gangstergafje (1300) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2017
03-06-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Germany).
The looks of the beer are nice and quite typical for a pale ale. The beer has a nice golden orange, quite a deep color. The beer has some haziness, but it is not entirely unclear. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft, rather rough white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. Not bad.
The smell of the beer isn’t that strong. It is typically that of an American Pale Ale though. Clear robust maltiness upfront, followed by some clear American hops. The hops give some nice resinous and piney aromas, with a tiny citrus hint. Not bad, not not extremely special neither. Just a good APA.
The taste is comparable. Nice malty sweetness at first, together with lovely bitter and slightly acidic hops, with mainly pine and resin touches. Not bad. It is a robust APA, like it should be. The bitterness seems a tiny bit to strong though, bringing it slightly out of balance. And it misses a bit of a special touch. A bit plain this way.
The palate of the beer is nice. Medium body, rather smooth and a nice medium carbonation. The finish is nice and contains some lovely bitter American hops. All in all, a nice beer but it misses some depth.

Man schmeckt und riecht viele Kräuter! Ein erfrischendes Bierchen für besondere Anlässe! Wer auf bittere Kräuter steht, sollte es mal testen!
