Beer Festival 2011. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, earth, some cellary notes, mild earth as well as some saltwatery notes. Flavour is quite similar, earthy and malty along with spices and some herbs with mild fruityness coming in towards the finish. Wellbalanced.

Beautiful color, dark amber - red, with medium sized head; but not hazy as the naturtrüb would suggest. Light, delicate aroma of roasted malt, with very light bread touch. Caramel flavor, light roasted malts, with an extremely dry mouthfeel that takes the pleasure away and creates an almost metallic finish; correct bitterness. It manages to be boring.
2011-02-11, draught at the Schweinfurt Brauhaus on Markt, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Dark brown color; creamy head. Light aroma of roasted malts. The body is quite round and smooth; there is a good flavor of mildly roasted malts, some dark chocolate, light residual sweetness. Correct bitterness. Chocolaty final. Quite good.
Brown. Hazy. The aroma has a healthy dose of breadcrust. Very herbal hop mit decent breadcrust on the palate. The body is fairly light and the carbonation quite high for a kellerbier. TBone (18099) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 10, 2011

2011 (BB 08/2011)
Dark copper color, small beige head. Caramelly, grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, ryeish, some caramel, grassy hoppyness. Dry finish. Decent and quite interesting "dunkel kellerbier".
500ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki)shrubber85 (11583) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - APR 15, 2005
6 heavy sludgy grainy aroma
4 Deep reddy drown, with all thecrud added, it’s very muddy
7 this makes up for all the dire beers - this is full and grainy, a little earthy and bitter, but with an occasional ginger tang.
4 full palate, pleasant carbonation. Finish a little milky, gently spiked with green hops.
14 Very solid dunkel. Looks require a bit of bravery, as it is sludgy, but worth the risk, it’s a classic unfltered dark german lager.
Bottle. Slight sweet malt aroma with metallic hints. Dark brown color with decent head. Sweet malt blended with mild hops flavor. Nice body. Much more hops than most beers of this style. pivnizub (10768) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2008
Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, quickly diminishing off-white head; dark malt, caramalt, nuts and some fruits in the aroma; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; traces of cacao in the bitter-malty finish. Decent, but a bit unharmonic. Is it a Dunkel or a Kellerbier.... leaparsons (10712) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2007
Bottle. Muddy brown with a small head. Aromas are malty with chocolate and weetabix. Bready yeast and raisins. Flavours are malty with cocoa powder. Yeasty with cookie dough. OK. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2010
It’s hazy red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, light syrup and nuts. The flavour is moderately sweet and has a nut-like dryness with hints of citrus, notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts and bread, it’s quite harmonic and nice.
