Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 23, 2009
Draft at brewery tap. Pale golden with lasting white cap. Aroma is bright, nuanced, with field of hops and perfect grain balance. Light body yet flavorful--a great combination. Balance is right on. The flowery bitter hops and the perfect grain. I wanted another... leaparsons (10712) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2007

Bottle: Pale golden, mid-sized, slowly collapsing white head; moderate grainy-bitter nose with a lot of aromatic hops; robust, a bit dryish bitter flavour, light to medium-bodied; sweet-malt, grain and aromatic hops in the finish. A pleasant, well made german Pilsener............ MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2007
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a beautiful and dense foamy white head. Herbal, slightly grassy hop aroma, backed with a light-sweet malt character. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Distinctive herbal hoppy taste with a moderate grainy malty background; dry hop bitter finish with a good length. Tasty, refreshing Pilsner; a goodie.
rauchbier (3928) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2007
Tap, at Tapas Bar in Bamberg July 2005. Gold, good white head and moderate condition. Pleasantly hoppy in the nose with some low sweet malt, soft and grainy sweet in the mouth with a pronounced hop resin note, gentle chalky grain balanced by restrained hop bitterness in the finish.

Not much of a pilsner fan. This beer did have a nice golden color, plenty of carbonation to keep the glass lively. The taste was of slight hops and a little metalic in the finish. Overall it was decent, but why drink a pils when a good hefe is near by. shrubber85 (11582) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 28, 2005
Bottle. Flowery hops aroma. Medium yellow color with ample but quick collapsing head. Creamy malt flavor with a nice hops finish. Nice body. Quite enjoyable with a bit more hops than many German pils.
