Gutes Festbier! 12/11/12/11//11

Draught at the brauhaus
Festbier (or Bockbier?), k, 5.2% Beautiful light amber color with generous creamy head. The aroma has some impression of butter. Round mouthfeel, caramel flavor, with very light fruitiness and light butter; light residual sweetness; low bitterness.
Drinkable, but a bit off.

Draught at the brewpub. </i >Clear deep golden, rich creamy head. Fruity nose with some buttery malt. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and malty, solid bodied with salty bitter finish. Flawless, but also a bit soulless.

Kupferfarben, leicht trüb, schöner fester Schaum. Süßlich, Trockenfrüchte, und Hefe Aromen. Sehr süffig. Viele Caramellnoten und brotigkeit dominieren den Geschmack. Es bleibt eine gute Restsüße. Nicht bitter und kaum rezent.

From tap at the Schact 4/8 brewpub. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is estery, fruity and hoppy grassy. Plastic, estery and rather bitter and dry. Herbal and dry into the far finish.

MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2006
(draught at the brewpub) Hazy amber colour with a rather small and slightly off-white foamy head. Shy aroma, moderately sweet and yeasty fruity (apricots), also slightly worty with traces of alcohol. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malty, yeasty and slightly worty taste with a honey-ish fruity note; medium-dry, malty and yeasty finish with pretty strong alcoholic presence. Could have been ripened and balanced better (26.09.06).

2.7
pivnizub (10561) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 4, 2006
On tap (Brauhaus Hibernia, GE): Sweetish-yeasty, a bit fruity (apples) nose with an alcoholic tinge; hazy, amber coloured, small, but lacing off-white foam; sweetish (fruity) flavour, light to medium bodied; malty-yeasty, a bit alcoholic and slightly bitter finish. O.K., but not very well matured..............
