humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - DEC 30, 2012
(33 cl bottle from WeinKultur Moabit; BBD: October 14th 2013) Pours a mostly clear amber with frothy, white head that turns creamy after a while. Good retention and lace. Aroma is cascade’ish but becomes more floral as it opens up. There’s also some resiny qualities there. Taste is a bit earthy, herbal, woody bordering on dried leaves. It may be the peppery taste of the Pacific Jade, that turns the taste in this direction. Moderately bitter and relatively dry. Oily texture, full body, medium carbonation and a dry and bitter finish.
