Pours an amber-dark brown color with a noisily collapsing, bubbly white head. Smells of rustic bread, popcorn, dried grass, marzipan and a toffee coating. Has a light, sparkly, malt defined body, well balanced and refreshing, which is due to the noteable, slightly metallic carbonation. Tastes of bread crust, toffee, bakers chocolate and a floral hint, which opens up the palate to leaves and grass, genuinely wrapped up by more toffee malts. Finishes thin, with coppery toffee and a very subtle tartness, comlimenting the malts. Very soft on the tongue, with enough depth to the malts to evoke a nice, entertaining flavor profile. Considering its style, this is still certainly on the light bodied side of things.

Bügelverschlußflasche(@Markthalle 9, Kreuzberg):Hazy, amber coloured, mid-sized off-white head with a little lace; moderate dryish chocolatey to nutty nose with some sweet dark malt underneath; light to medium sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and pretty soft; lingering sweet and slightly bitter finish, repeating the flavours of the initial aroma. Pleasant, no doubt…

Beautiful white foam. The aroma spreads a lovely light caramel malt aroma which happily go back to a taste with a little nuts, toasted white bread and a little dark dried fruit. It is medium bodied with gentle mouthfeel. The aftertaste is gently hoppy, leaving room for a little cute taste of cocoa along with the delicate touch of hops. An elegant dark lager, which might not start the big revoloution among dark lagers.
